Boy, Cal Poly is doing things right. They don't seem to have a problem raising money. An article in today's trib talked about what Poly will do with the expected $16 Million they'll get from the education proposition that was passed last week. Plans are to take $4.6 Million and add to the $18 Million they have from private funding to replace the current science and mathamatics building. Maybe the Lucia Mar School District can only ask Cal Poly if they can help them think of a way to get some extra cash to pay the teachers competitive salaries.
