Another thing great about Tivo is that you can pause those screens they flash that have the small print on them. I had the TV on in the background while doing some stuff on the computer (what else!) and I heard an ad say "and make sure you can afford the monthly payments". I thought that was kinda weird so I went back to see what the ad was. It's one of these get cash places that require no collateral. They say "we trust you". I paused the small print screen and the first line said "The APR for a typical loan of $2,600 is 99.25%...". Wow, I thought credit card advances had outrageous interest.
