About Keith Byrd....

Keith met his wife, Stacy, at Cal Poly in 1981. They have been happily married for 24 years!  Keith and Stacy have three daughters, ages 19, 17, and 16. Keith's wife is a Special Education teacher at a local community school for the San Luis Obispo County of Education. 

Keith has had a successful business career with 17 years experience working in high tech in Silicon Valley. He was one of the first 100 employees at Cisco Systems and led a product team reporting directly to John Chambers, Cisco's current CEO. Keith served as Vice President of Marketing for seven years at start-up companies that helped build and secure the Internet. During his career, Keith traveled to every continent (except Antarctica) but always loved returning to California. 

In 2002, Keith decided to retire from Silicon Valley and move his family to the Central Coast. It was the experience of moving that got Keith into real estate as he saw how little the Internet was being used in real estate. Keith's business strategy was to develop a website that he would want to use if he was Buying or Selling property on the Central Coast. Today, Keith's website is one of the most searched Realtor websites in the entire nation!

Keith has served as a Board of Director for the local Realtor Association. He was also a member of the regional Central Coast MLS Committee where he contributed his knowledge and experience to help choose a replacement MLS System for the 2700+ Realtors in the area.
