When you look to list your home with a brokerage, their service should address the following key areas:

  • Pricing - Your home gets the "New Listing" exposure only once. Properly pricing the home from the start is the best strategy to get the highest price.

  • Presentation - With 96% of Buyers using the Internet in their search, the home photos (especially the main photo) are critical. Studies show that Buyers still drive neighborhoods so the home flyer is also important. The home flyer is what a Buyer is going to take away with them to remember your home. Make sure it looks great.

  • Exposure - If the Agent is a membrer of the local MLS, your home will get expsoure to other Agents as well as other real estate websites.

  • Listing Agent - The Listing Agent is the key in your home sale. They will negotiate on your behalf, handle the contracts, manage the transaction (escrow, inspections, etc.), They have the experience ane expertise in this market. If something comes up, they'll have a network of people (contractors, roofers, painters, etc.). They should communicate with you the way you want (text, email, phone). The Listing Agent should also be local to where your home is so they are able to easily meet people at your home and make sure the flyer box stays full.
